Join this interactive pre-conference workshop on aligning foundation values with practices. We’ll take some time to review Trust-Based Philanthropy values and reflect on the ways that those values can impact in our individual roles. And then we’ll talk about what happens when your practices aren’t aligned with your values, brainstorm small steps you can take in your current role, and envision how those little changes add up to meaningful shifts in philanthropy. We’ll dig deep in this workshop – how do we advocate for changes when we notice misalignment? How can we lean on each other as a funder community to share ideas and promising practices? What do we do when we get stuck? What changes can we make tomorrow? If you’re ready to explore trust-based, equity-driven practices that show up at every level in a foundation, this workshop is for you.
