Request a Trust-Based Presentation

The Trust-Based Philanthropy Project is happy to offer presentations and workshops for foundations and funder networks that are interested in learning about and operationalizing trust-based philanthropy within their grantmaking, organizational culture, structures, and leadership. We offer the following:

  • Public programming: Much of our public programming is produced in partnership with philanthropic serving organizations – such as regional associations of grantmakers and/or thematic affinity groups with a membership base of institutional funders. Given our core mission of engaging institutional grantmakers across the United States, we generally do not charge a fee for co-producing presentations with philanthropic serving organizations.

  • Private presentations: For a more intimate and customized experience, we offer private presentations for foundation boards and staff. These presentations are most effective when a foundation is at a key inflection point (e.g., new leadership, new strategic plan) and/or it has made a recent strategic decision to adopt values and practices that align with a trust-based approach. These presentations are offered at a suggested donation to the Project, anywhere from $2,000-$15,000 depending on the request.

  • Supplemental curriculum: We are also available to contribute to a learning series or curriculum cohort that is already underway. Since these engagements tend to be fee-based and closed to the public, we may request a suggested donation to the Project for our participation.

Please complete the form below to request a speaker to present to your board, staff, or member funders.

Please note that we are a small team and cannot fulfill every request. In keeping with our mission, we prioritize requests from U.S.-based foundations seeking support in making institutional change. We are not able to respond to inquiries for non-funder audiences at this time. Notice of at least four weeks also helps us fulfill your request.
