A Celebration of the Trust-Based Philanthropy Movement: What We've Learned and Where We're Going
"A Celebration of the Trust-Based Philanthropy Movement: What We've Learned and Where We're Going" was held on Wednesday, October 8th 2024.
The Trust-Based Philanthropy Project, in community with our network of ambassadors and advocates, gathered for a special virtual event celebrating our 5-year anniversary. Since 2020, we have collectively elevated the importance of trust-based philanthropy, influenced change among thousands of practitioners, and advanced a new narrative about the role of philanthropy. We have far exceeded our original goals of building a network of like-minded funders and sparking practical shifts in grantmaking – and now we have aspirations to go even further toward advancing a more just and equitable society.
In this session, we reflected on highlights and lessons of our first five years, shared our thinking about our next chapter, and dreamed with you about the possibilities for a trust-based future.
