Webinar: Building Strong Relationships through Trust-Based Philanthropy

Nonprofits have always been on the front lines of meeting our communities’ needs, and this moment of crisis reinforces the importance of cultivating trust between donors and nonprofits. If donors can approach their giving from a place of trust, with a commitment to alleviating power imbalances, nonprofits will be much more effective at meeting their communities' most urgent needs.

In this webinar, speakers from the Trust-Based Philanthropy Project will share the rationale behind why a trust-based approach is so important, what it looks like in practice, and what the urgency of this moment can teach us about how we should consider donor-grantee relationships for the long haul.

Speakers:

This virtual event is open to Greater Kansas City Community Foundation donors, their families and their advisors. Registration is closed to the public. To learn more about the Greater Kansas City Community Foundation, visit www.growyourgiving.org.
